Magic Birddogs produces the finest in
class upland birddogs.
We breed primarily English Setters, but on occasion we have
Elhew Pointers, or Springer Spaniels.
We have been breeding, hunting, field trialing and enjoying
the companionship of upland birddogs for over 25 years. We specialize
in hunting and walking field trial dogs for use on grouse and
woodcock. We are located near the NY/Vermont border. We breed
for quality, not quantity, so we don't bred a lot of puppies,
just good ones.
We strive to produce exceptional dogs that are exciting to
watch, fun to hunt or trial, and have friendly, affectionate
personalities. Some of the qualities we select for are: desire,
class, boldness, style, hard hunting, eagerness to please,
quickness, athletic ability, trainability and temperament.
